Who needs a bar when there are cocktail caravans?

Food trucks have become increasingly popular at receptions. And now that mobile aspect is being applied to another favorite element of a wedding celebration—the bar.

Mobile bars can pull up and park almost anywhere. Most such services come fully stocked and manned with a skilled bartender ready to craft cocktails. They’re often housed in vintage campers or trailers—at least that’s the case with Jax mobile bar company, The Aperitif Co., which rolls around in a 1950s Shasta camper.

“Mobile bars offer the freedom to pop up at the location of the couple’s choice,” says Maria Conover. “A backyard wedding, barnyard wedding or even a beautiful, well-known venue that does not offer bar service.” —Stephanie Wolff
