Brides are moving away from a menu of standard well drinks accompanied by traditional mixers, instead opting for custom cocktails crafted by bartenders who pull up in their own decked out mobile bars. Bars-on-wheels come in all shapes and sizes, from vintage campers to converted horse trailers. The bartenders behind these concepts concoct drinks that fit the theme of the wedding and the taste of those attending.
“Guests come for an experience. You want every little detail to count and food and beverages are a good way to do that because people remember that kind of stuff,” says Heather Stewart of the Unbridled Bar. “I think it’s interesting to try a drink at a wedding that you may not have tried anywhere else. It could become something you really enjoy and be memorable.”
Most mobile bars use as many fresh, local ingredients as they can, making the beverages not only unique to each wedding but fitting with the location at which they are poured.
