Wedding hashtags have become an increasingly popular trend, with couples exerting lots of time and energy to select the ideal one. “It creates a miniature photo album for you to go back and look at from everyone’s perspectives,” says Jax native Kayla Beckmann Barnhart (pictured), who married Guy Barnhart earlier this year.
The hardest part about choosing the right hashtag may be finding one that hasn’t already been used. Wedding sites like WeddingWire have tried to make the task a bit easier with hashtag generators for couples to find a unique tag. The Barnharts began collecting photos with the hashtag #KaylaGotHerGuy from the moment they got engaged. “It allows your friends, your family and even yourself to start collecting photos so you can go back and review them,” Kayla says.
