Patch Work

Sending a special message to your groom on your wedding day may be a bit complicated if you haven’t planned to do a “first look.” And sending a note by messenger isn’t the most romantic option. Try secretly adding a patch with a customized message to the back of his tie. While getting ready on the big day, he’ll be reminded that he’s exactly where he should be. For example, Rebecca Kneale, owner of Etsy shop SEWHAPPYGIRLS, creates handmade embroidered patches that can be stitched or ironed on. The patches can be designed to include up to 12 words and fit standard, slim, skinny and bow ties. Prices start at $35, varying depending on word count and design.
