Wedding photography takes to the skies with drones

Couples want every minute of their wedding documented and from every angle. For some that includes an aerial view. Louis Grasse, owner of the Jacksonville-based company Self Made Visions, says that shooting with a drone offers a certain freedom. “Too often we are constrained by our surroundings when creating art or when capturing moments,” Grasse says. “Flying a camera in the sky provides the freedom to move around and create what’s never been seen from that perspective before.” Drones typically add an additional fee to a photography package, often around $250. —Stephanie Wolff
